The House that Huggie built with the Sponge..

 
This is a profile of Huggie B, better known as Sponge these days to my bowling pals. I'm the captain of the EZ Lane, Thursday nites mixed champions for 2006.
 
I've been gearing up for the USBC and Hoinke Tourneys.  Now that the Hoinke is kinda over I'm focusing on the USBS Open Championships.

Hey Jim,
Yeah, I really hated to hear that about the Hoinke.  I keep hoping they will find another house to host it, but at the same time, I'm not going to hold my breath.  I am going to Nashville the end of March for the TN State Women's Tourney, and then in April I go to Reno for the Women's Nationals.  I am bowling in 2 houses this year and there have been enough tourneys going on in both to keep me busy and broke.  LOL  Will really miss that trip in the fall to Cinci.  Even though I never bowled well there, I always loved going.  Oh well, we will just have to wait and see.  Keep me posted if you hear some "good news".  I am not planning on bowling the summer, so I will be out of the loop for a while.  Hope you do well in Vegas!!  Thanks for the comment.

Hoinke was good. I think my team is in second place in teams right now. Too bad the Bowl will be torn down next year.. Our major complaint was that the approaches were sticking like fly paper. We had to almost have all our lanes recleaned because of it..

How did you do at the Hoinkie?  We go late October or early Nov. every year.  I love going.  Did you have fun?

Thanks, we were going to just go with a traditional bowling ball picture, but we thought thats just too common so this is how the concept came to be. The Reno pics, are they from last year? 
 
We were there during the last days of the Tournament, it was really great, I loved the facilities, but they say Vegas is even better.
